The School Age Program is for students from 5-12 years of age who are enrolled in a private or public elementary school, but require childcare outside of school hours. We offer several different options for our school aged children.
The Kindergarten program is designed for students who attend a half-day Kindergarten at their own school. Our program is a full day program except for the hours during which the child is at school. Depending on the hours that the child is present, DCCDS provides a hot breakfast, hot lunch, and afternoon snack each day. Our teachers use The Creative Curriculum and A Beka Book as a supplementary academic curriculum outside of classes.
Our before-school program allows parents to drop off kids as early as 6am. We provide a hot breakfast each morning before students go to school between 7am-8am. Deep Creek Country Day School provides morning transportation to Deep Creek Central Elementary School and Grassfield Elementary School, while the public school bus picks up students of Deep Creek Elementary School each morning.
Our after-school only program provides care for children from the time they are released from school in the afternoon until parents can pick them up. This program provides an afternoon snack for students each day. Deep Creek Country Day School provides afternoon pick-up for students of Deep Creek Central Elementary School, Grassfield Elementary School, G.A. Treakle Elementary School, and Camelot Elementary School, while the public school bus drops off students of Deep Creek Elementary School. Our after-school program schedule includes:

Before and After School
This program is the combination of our before- and after-school programs, thus providing care for children as early as 6am and until closing at 6pm. This program provides both a hot breakfast and afternoon snack each day. Transportation to and from various elementary schools is the same as listed above. Parents of students attending schools other than the ones listed above are expected to provide their own transportation to and from DCCDS.
